PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a toothbrush in which a step of attaching a toothbrushing part to a handle part is not necessary.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a toothbrush 1 including a handle part 10 and a toothbrushing part 20 consisting of a plurality of linear strips 22 comprises a preparation step, a pressing step and a slitting step. The preparation step is a step of preparing a paper shaft 30 in which a tip part 32 becomes the toothbrushing part 20 and the remnant part 34 becomes the handle part 10. The pressing step is a step of pressing the tip part 32 in a direction perpendicular to an extension direction of the tip part 32 so that the tip part 32 of the paper shaft 30 prepared by the preparation step is deformed into the platy shape. The slitting step is a step of cutting the tip part 32 deformed into the platy shape by the pressing step in a direction perpendicular to the width direction thereof to separate the tip part 32 into the linear strips 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
