PURPOSE: Molded food and a producing method thereof are provided to enable a user to easily cut and eat the food and to secure the taste and the texture of leftover food. CONSTITUTION: A producing method of molded food comprises the following steps: preparing kimchi(1), and sterilizing the kimchi； molding the sterilized kimchi into a fixed shape； covering the molded kimchi with an edible film(10) having a waterproof property； preparing rice cake or bread and molding the rice cake or the bread； and covering the molded rice cake or bread with the edible film.본 발명은 식용필름과 동시에 취식할 수 있는 식품성형체와 그 제조방법에 관한 것으로서, 김치, 떡, 또는 빵등의 식품을 소정의 형상으로 압축성형하고, 그 압축성형된 식품을 식용필름으로 감싸서 형성하여, 취식할 시에 식용필름을 따로 벗겨내지 않고 그대로 썰어 식품과 동시에 취식이 가능하므로 누구나 다루기 쉽고, 취식 후 남은 식품은 식품성형체를 그대로 보관하게 되므로, 형태, 식감, 풍미등을 유지하며 보관이 용이한 장점이 있다.
