The present invention provides: a non-fermented beer-like effervescent beverage which has an extremely low purine body concentration but still maintains a "beer-like taste"； and a method for producing the beverage. In the non-fermented beer-like effervescent beverage according to the present invention, the amount of a raw material containing a purine body to be added is controlled, the purine body concentration in the beverage is 0.2 mg/100mL or less, and at least one compound selected from the group consisting of 3-methyl-1-butanol, isovaleric acid, &gamma；-nonalactone, 4-hydroxy-2,5-dimethyl-3-furanone, 2-acetylthiazole, 4-vinylguaiacol, 2-acetyl-1-pyrroline, 2-propyl-1-pyrroline, myrcene, linalool, &bgr；-damascenone, phenethyl alcohol, cis-3-hexenol, 3-methyl-2-butene-1-thiol, methionol and 2-methyl-3-furanthiol is contained.本発明は、プリン体濃度が非常に低いにもかかわらず「ビールらしさ」を保持している非発酵ビール様発泡性飲料、及びその製造方法を提供する。本発明の非発酵ビール様発泡性飲料は、プリン体を含む原料の添加量が調整されており、かつ、プリン体濃度が０．２ｍｇ／１００ｍＬ以下であり、３－メチル－１－ブタノール、イソバレリン酸、γ－ノナラクトン、４－ヒドロキシ－２，５－ジメチル－３－フラノン、２－アセチルチアゾール、４－ビニルグアイアコール、２－アセチル－１－ピロリン、２－プロピル－１－ピロリン、ミルセン、リナロール、β－ダマセノン、フェネチルアルコール、シス－３－ヘキセノール、３－メチル－２－ブテン－１－チオール、メチオノール、及び２－メチル－３－フランチオールからなる群より選択される１種以上の化合物を含有する。
