PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a beer taste beverage, a method for producing a beer taste beverage, and a method for improving flavor of a beer taste beverage that can achieve citrus-like taste as well as an excellent acid taste quality, and further can suppress astringent and miscellaneous tastes and irritation of acid taste.SOLUTION: A beer taste beverage according to the present invention has a X/Y value of 0.08-30.00 when the malic acid content is defined as X mg/L and the pyruvic acid content is defined as Y mg/L. A method for producing a beer taste beverage according to the present invention comprises a step of adjusting X/Y value to 0.08-30.00 when the malic acid content is defined as X mg/L and the pyruvic acid content is defined as Y mg/L.
