PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a beer taste beverage in which not only a volume feeling is enhanced, but also, a stimulus taste is suppressed, and mildness is improved, a method for producing a beer taste beverage, and a method for improving the flavor of a beer taste beverage.SOLUTION: Provided is a beer taste beverage in which, provided that the content of pyruvic acid is defined as Xmg/L and the content of lactic acid is defined as Ymg/L, the value of the X is 200 or lower, and further, the value of the Y/X is 0.13 to 6.0. Also provided is a method for producing the beer taste beverage comprising a process where the value of the X is controlled to 200 or lower, and further, the value of the Y/X is controlled to 0.13 to 6.0.
