PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a beer taste beverage having a rich taste and an improved sharp taste, and to provide a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: The beer taste beverage according to the present invention is characterized in that: the extract content derived from wheat is 0.72 g/100 cmor less it contains water-soluble dietary fibers and it contains acid taste substance by 325 to 972 ppm in terms of citric acid. Further, the method for producing beer taste beverage according to the invention is a method for producing beer taste beverage that produces a beer taste beverage, and is characterized in that: at any stage during the production process, a raw material derived from wheat is added such that the extract content derived from wheat in the finished product becomes 0.72 g/100 cmor less water-soluble dietary fibers are added and acid taste substance is added such that the content in the finished product becomes 325 to 972 ppm in terms of citric acid.
