PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to reliably hold or release a small and constant amount of food materials with a simpler configuration.SOLUTION: A food product holding device (11) which can hold or release a food material. A food product holding device (13) comprises: a stem 82； a pair of arms (83) which are so fitted to the stem 82 as to be capable of being driven； a pair of tips 84 which are respectively provided at tips of the pair of arms (83)； and a control unit 14 which controls the motions of the pair of arms (83).
