PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holding device capable of fixedly holding an operating handle in a fixing mechanism which is configured to turn an eccentric leg part to fix to a bed.SOLUTION: A side rail or a grip for a bed has a fixing mechanism configured so that an operating handle for freely turning operation is fixed to one post of a pair of posts installed in a fixed fence part, the post is borne on the fixed fence part, and an eccentric shaft part decentered relative to a turning axial center is integrally provided in the post, and so as to be mounted to a bed or the like by displacing the interval between the one post and the other post by the turning operation of the operating handle. Further, the holding device is arranged between the operating handle and the fixed fence part at the time of locking the fixing mechanism, and a holding groove for holding the operating handle is provided on the operating handle side of the holding device.
