A method for producing yeast extract including 4%-30% disodium inosinate salt and disodium guanylate salt (I+G) and product thereof, comprises providing yeast cream including 8wt% or more of ribonucleic acid, sterilizing yeast in yeast cream, centrifugal separating yeast cream to obtain supernatant, enzymolysising by adding enzyme into the supernatant, heat-treating to inactivate enzyme, concentrating and drying the supernatant to obtain yeast extract of the disodium inosinate salt and disodium guanylate content being 4%-30%. A yeast extract is produced by above-mentioned method.
