An object of the present invention to provide a method for manufacturing rice cake using garlic including a novel processing method in which irritating taste and odor of garlic are removed and active ingredients of garlic are further enhanced, and rice cake manufactured thereby. The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing rice cake containing garlic, comprising: a pretreatment step of preparing aged garlic having a powder form or paste after cutting the whole garlic in slices; an aging step of aging the pasted garlic; a pulverization step of preparing glutinous rice powder by pulverizing the glutinous rice; a mixing step of mixing the glutinous rice powder with water to manufacture a mixture; a mixing step of splitting and adding the aged garlic into the mixture and mixing the same; and a shaping step of shaping the mixture mixed with garlic into a predetermined shape.본 발명은 통 마늘을 슬라이스 형태로 채를 썬 후 분말 형태 또는 페이스트로 구비된 숙성된 마늘을 준비하는 전처리단계; 페이스트된 마늘을 숙성시키는 숙성단계; 찹쌀을 미분하여 찹쌀가루로 준비하는 미분단계; 상기 찹쌀가루에 물을 가하면서 혼합하여 혼합물로 제조하는 혼합단계; 상기 혼합물 중에 숙성된 마늘을 분할하여 투입하면서 혼합하는 혼합단계; 및 마늘이 혼합된 혼합물을 소정형상으로 성형하는 성형단계;를 포함하는 마늘을 포함하는 떡의 제조방법에 관한 것이다.
