The present invention relates to a method for preparing a gastrointestinal function improving composition using vegetable polysaccharide polymers. The method includes: a washing step, an extraction and filtering step, a concentration step, an ethanol processing step, an ethanol separation step, a drying step, a foreign substance removing step, and a mixing step.
