The present invention relates to an individually packaged cream-cheese laminate comprising first and second outer cream-cheese layers and a filling layer interposed therebetween. Preferably the filling layer comprises a second cream-cheese, processed cheese, pesto, tomato sauce, salad cream, mayonnaise, mustard, marmalade, jam, jelly, chocolate, or a mixture of two or more thereof. Preferably the cream-cheese comprises one or more stabilisers selected from the group consisting of gelatine, xanthan gum, carrageenan, locust bean gum, citrate or a mixture of two or more thereof and that the stabilisers are present in an amount from 1 to 5 wt%. Preferably the cream-cheese laminate has a solids content of 35 to 60 wt%, even more preferably between 44 to 50% and/or wherein the cream-cheese has a protein content between 6 -20 wt%, even more preferably 10-15 wt%. Preferably the cream cheese laminate comprises flavouring ingredients. Preferably the filling of the cream cheese laminate is of a constant thickness of between 1mm-4mm.
