The present invention provides a Lactobacillus plantarum Ln4 strain which is probiotics separated from traditional fermented food and a purpose of the same and, specifically, to an antiobesic purpose of a Lactobacillus plantarum Ln4 strain. The Lactobacillus plantarum Ln4 strain divided from the traditional fermented food such as soybean paste, red chili paste, and soy sauce can be used as probiotics. The Lactobacillus plantarum Ln4 strain can suppress accumulation of fat in a fat cell and can indicate significant body fat reduction effect when being injected into an obese mouse model induced by high fat diet.
