PURPOSE: A method for producing amylose content-regulated transgenic plants is provided to control the amylase content by inhibiting the expression of GBSSI gene. CONSTITUTION: A vector for transforming a plant, pRNAi-GBSSI(KACC 95106P), contains a base of sequence number 1 in sense and antisense directions. A transgenic plant is prepared by the vector or Agrobacterium tumefaciens transformed by the vector. The plant is Oriza sativa. A method for producing the transgenic Oriza sativa comprises: a step of isolating the base of sequence number 1 from the GBSSI gene； a step of preparing the expression vector containing the base； a step of preparing Agrobacterium for transformation using the expression vector； and a step of transforming Oryza sativa using the transformed Agrobacterium.본 발명은 아밀로스 함량을 조절된 형질전환 벼 및 이의 제조방법에 관한 것으로써, 보다 상세하게는 GBSSI(granule-bounded starch synthase I) 유전자의 3'-UTR 영역을 포함하는 일부 서열을 센스와 안티센스 방향으로 동시에 벼 식물체내에 발현시켜 이들 센스와 안티센스 RNA 단편이 이중-가닥 RNA(dsRNA)를 형성하게 함으로써, GBSSI 유전자의 발현을 억제되어 아밀로스의 함량이 조절된 형질전환 벼 및 그 제조방법에 관한 것이다.
