PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an unconventional and innovative manufacturing method of a bean paste-like food product from rice.SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of a bean paste-like food product from rice includes: heating raw material rice of nonglutinous brown rice or nonglutinous white rice under a pressure of 0.9 kg/cmto 1.1 kg/cm swelling the rice under reduced pressure pulverizing the swollen rice adding water and saccharides to the pulverized riceand kneading the rice. The product has a sugar degree (Brix) of 40% to 75%.
