The present invention relates to Korean traditional soybean products with GABA production enhancing activities, and a method for preparing the same. Korean traditional soybean products according to the present invention have effects that functional Korean traditional soybean products which exhibit high protease activities and mucilage producing capacities and have excellent GABA producing capabilities are capable of being prepared by preparing Korean traditional soybean products through a method for inoculating strains of Bacillus subtilis MC31 and Lactobacillus sakei 383 into soybean and culturing the strains of Bacillus subtilis MC31 and Lactobacillus sakei 383 inoculated into the soybean.본 발명은 가바 생성 증진 활성을 갖는 장류 및 이의 제조방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 장류는 바실러스 서브틸리스(Bacillussubtilis) MC31 및 락토바실러스 사케이 383(L. sakei 383) 균주를 대두에 접종하여 배양하는 방법으로 제조하여 높은 프로테아제 활성과 점질물 생성능을 보이고, 뛰어난 가바 생성능이 있는 기능성 장류를 제조할 수 있는 효과가 있다.
