A process for the preparation of a self-curing calcium phosphate foam, characterized in that it comprises a single mixing and simultaneous foaming step, a powder phase and a liquid phase, in which the powder phase comprises at least one source of calcium and at least a source of phosphate, in which the liquid phase is an aqueous solution, in which the powder phase, the liquid phase or both contain at least one additive selected from the group consisting of surfactants and blowing agents, and in which mixing and the simultaneous foaming are carried out by means of reciprocating movements of the material by means of a close connection between two containers, one of them initially containing the powdery phase and the other containing the liquid phase.Un procedimiento para la preparación de una espuma autofraguable de fosfato cálcico, caracterizado porque comprende una única etapa de mezclado y de espumado simultáneo, una fase pulverulenta y una fase líquida, en el que la fase pulverulenta comprende al menos una fuente de calcio y al menos una fuente de fosfato, en el que la fase líquida es una disolución acuosa, en el que la fase pulverulenta, la fase líquida o ambas contienen al menos un aditivo seleccionado del grupo que consiste en tensioactivos y agentes espumantes, y en el que el mezclado y el espumado simultáneos son llevados a cabo mediante movimientos de vaivén del material mediante una conexión estrecha entre dos recipientes, conteniendo uno de ellos inicialmente la fase pulverulenta y el otro la fase líquida.
