This method for producing a lower alcohol fatty acid esterified product-containing composition comprises a step for obtaining a lower alcohol fatty acid esterified product-containing composition that contains a lower alcohol EPA esterified product by treating a starting material fat or oil containing an EPA-containing glyceride with use of a lipase. The water content in the reaction liquid for the treatment is 0.4% by mass or more.本發明為一種含有低級醇脂肪酸酯化合物之組成物的製造方法，其係包括使用脂肪酶來處理含有含EPA的甘油酯的原料油脂，而得到含有低級醇EPA酯化合物之含有低級醇脂肪酸酯化合物之組成物之步驟，前述處理的反應液中的水分含量為0.4質量%以上。
