PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cocktail sauce which suppresses sweetness of a tomato ketchup and a tingling sensation of horse radish without impairing the taste.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for producing a cocktail sauce, comprising (S1) adding squeezed juice of 6 lemons in a container, (S3) grating a chunk of horse-radish, (S5) beating the grated horse-radish for 20 minutes, (S7) adding the beaten horse-radish in a container, (S9) adding 1400 g of a tomato ketchup in the container, (S11) adding 1 L of tomato juice therein, (S13) adding 400 mL of brandy therein, (S15) adding 50 g of chemical seasoning therein, (S17) adding 150 mL of a pepper sauce therein, (S19) mixing the content in the container, and (S21) aging the content in the container at a temperature of 10°C or lower for 1 week or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
