The present utility model discloses a method of preparing the seaweed (Eucheuma sp.)-coconut candy comprising the steps of cleaning the seaweed thoroughly in potable water, washing the young coconut fruit, shredding the young coconut meat, measuring the seaweed, coconut meat, coconut water, sugar and vanilla, mixing altogether the measured ingredients, cooking the seaweed-coconut-candy mixture, cooling the cooked seaweed-coco candy, packing the seaweed-coconut candy and storing the candy in cool dry place. The present seaweed (Eucheuma sp. )-coconut candy has better flavor, texture and higher nutritive value than the traditional coconut candy because the added seaweed is rich in vitamins and essential minerals.
