PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packed rice with acid taste and acid odor from an acidulant reduced.SOLUTION: A packed rice allows long-period storage at ordinary temperature, can be eaten by heating in an electronic oven or a hot-water bath and includes rice, a container body storing the rice, a lid part for closing the container body and a deodorant. The deodorant is provided in such a state as not to be in contact with the rice. The rice is cooked with cooking water added with an acidulant.
