PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food in a container which enables easy cooking and easy container disposal after cooking, and to provide a manufacturing method of the food.SOLUTION: A food 100 in a container includes a container body 101. The container body 101 is formed by forming a resin sheet RS into a rectangular bag shape in a plan view. A partition part 104 which divides the interior of the container body 101 into a food storage part 105 and a liquid storage part 106 is formed at a center part of the container body 101. The partition part 104 is joined with a joint force that enables the two resin sheets RS forming the container body 101 to be separated by human power. The food storage part 105 seals a dry food F which becomes cookable by being immersed in a cooking liquid CL.
