PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the time needed for capturing measurement data from a beam position monitor, and to improve detection accuracy of an irradiation dose.SOLUTION: A downstream beam position monitor monitoring and controlling device 8b2 inputs a target position of an irradiation spot, the number of effective channels, a target dose of each spot, and a conversion coefficient of a charge amount and the dose measured in a downstream beam position monitor 11d, then specifies a channel 52 where data becomes maximum and a channel (range A) for capturing the data, and calculates the charge amounts detected in the specified channels and the total sum. In data capture processing after the end of spot irradiation, only specified channel data is captured, and the measured charge amount of a beam which has passed through is calculated. The total sum of the calculated measured charge amount and the total sum of a predicted charge amount are compared, and whether or not the difference is within the range of a threshold is checked. An irradiation stop/completion signal is output so as not to perform the irradiation of the next spot at abnormal time, and arithmetic processing for shifting to the next spot is performed at normal time.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】ビーム位置モニタからの計測データの取り込みにかかる時間を短縮するとともに、照射線量の検出精度を向上させる。【解決手段】下流ビーム位置モニタ監視制御装置8b2は、照射スポットの目標位置・有効チャンネル数・各スポットの目標線量・下流ビーム位置モニタ11dで計測される電荷量と線量の変換係数を入力した後に、データが最大となるチャンネル52とデータを取り込むチャンネル(範囲A)を特定し、特定したチャンネルで検出される電荷量とその総和を算出する。スポット照射終了後のデータ取込み処理では特定されたチャンネルデータのみを取り込み、通過したビームの実測電荷量を計算する。この計算した実測電荷量の総和と予測電荷量の総和とを比較し、その差が閾値の範囲内であるかをチェックする。異常時には次スポットの照射を行わないように照射中止・完了信号を出力し、正常時には次のスポットに遷移するための演算処理を行う。【選択図】図2
