PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a perimeter for accurately detecting a fixation state.SOLUTION: In the perimeter having a means for measuring a visual field of an eye 19 to be examined when the eye 19 perceives a visual target 16 projected in order at different positions on a projection member, a fixation state monitoring means 18 which monitors the fixation state of the eye 19 in perimetry and includes illuminating means 20, 21, 22 for illuminating the eye 19 with the brightness necessary for monitoring the fixation state of the eye 19, and a visibility correcting means for correcting the visibility of the eye 19 the visibility correcting means is provided to move between a set position corresponding to a measurement position of the eye to be examined and a stored position retracted to an outer peripheral part of the projection member.
