PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new technology to remove artifact that appears in an image acquired by using an interference optical system.SOLUTION: An ophthalmological photographing apparatus includes an objective lens, an interference optical system, an optical scanner, a fixation target projection system, and a control unit. The interference optical system divides a light from a light source into a measurement light and a reference light, causes the measurement light to enter an eye to be examined through the objective lens, and detects an interference light between a return light of the measurement light that is emitted from the eye to be examined and passes through the objective lens, and the reference light. The optical scanner deflects the measurement light. The fixation target projection system projects a fixation target onto the ocular fundus of the eye to be examined. The control unit controls the scan position of the measurement light by controlling the optical scanner in a first coordinate system, and controls the position of the fixation target by controlling the fixation target projection system in a second coordinate system.
