PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coffee beverage having suppressed bitter taste and sharpness of aftertaste regardless of liquid temperature of the beverage.SOLUTION: There is provided a packed coffee beverage having guaiacol content of 10 to 600 μg/L, preferably 100 to 500 μg/L and furfurylmercaptane content of 22 to 1000 μg/L, preferably 150 to 500 μg/L. There is provided the packed coffee beverage satisfying at least one of p-ethylphenol content of 2 to 20 μg/L, p-cresol content of 2 to 20 μg/L, phenol content of 50 to 1100 μg/L and 2-acetyl pyrrole content of 300 to 1500 μg/L.
