PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a beverage which improves taste problems due to a caramel pigment widely used for coloring beverages, especially bitterness, bad feeling on the tongue, or rough feeling, and to provide a method for producing the beverage.SOLUTION: Provided are a beverage, an alcoholic beverage, a carbonated beverage, and a production method thereof, which can effectively solve taste problems and, further, remarkably improve aftertaste, by combining the caramel pigment, spilanthol, and quassin and neoquassin so that a concentration of each becomes 0.01 to 6 w/v%, 0.3 to 400 ppb, and 0.3 to 400 ppb (a total of concentrations of quassin and neoquassin).SELECTED DRAWING: None
