PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pants type wearing article improving a fitting property of a crotch part or an external appearance when being worn by deforming elastic stretchable parts in the both sides of a ventral part and a dorsal part, and simplifying manufacturing equipment by dispensing with the use of a rocking disposition device of the elastic member and the like.
SOLUTION: This pants type wearing article 1 having a waist opening part 7 and a pair of leg opening parts 8 and 8 is provided with the elastic stretchable parts G1-G4 in the respective both side parts of the ventral part A and the dorsal part B, wherein each of the elastic stretchable parts G1-G4 has two sheet materials 11 and 12 and a plurality of elastic members 13 disposed between the two sheet materials 11 and 12, each elastic member 13 is disposed along the width direction of the wearing article, and the two sheet materials 11 and 12 are mutually joined at a plurality of joining lines L1-L13 which are inclined in the both directions of the orientation direction of the elastic member 13 and its orthogonal direction.
