PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a readily available sirtuin activity promoter, to provide the sirtuin activity promoter, and to provide a composition containing it.SOLUTION: A method for producing a sirtuin activity promoter comprises a branching step of blanching burdock, a fermentation step of fermenting the burdock, which is subjected to branching, with koji, and an extraction process of extracting a burdock extract from the fermented burdock with an organic solvent.
