CONSTITUTION: A method for producing a large amount of virus-free plants and seed from virus-infected plants comprises: a step of isolating tissues from the virus-infected plants； a step of placing the isolated tissues in a medium to induce callus； a step of separating the callus in a certain size； and a step of culturing the callus in a callus medium for redifferentiation. The tissue is leaves, stems, roots, or seeds. The plant is tobacco, tomato, Capsicum annuum, carrot, or cucurbitaceous plant.본 발명은 바이러스 감염 식물체에서 조직을 분리하는 단계； 상기 분리된 조직을 캘러스 유기배지에 치상하여 캘러스를 유기하는 단계； 상기 유기된 캘러스를 체를 이용하여 일정 크기로 분리하는 단계； 및 상기 분리된 캘러스를 캘러스 배양배지에서 배양한 후 재분화시켜 재분화체를 형성하는 단계를 포함하여 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 바이러스에 감염된 식물체로부터 바이러스 무병주 및 종자를 생산하는 방법을 제공한다. 상기한 본원 발명에 의하면, 공정이 간단하고 생산효율이 높은 식물 조직배양기법을 이용하여 바이러스에 감염된 식물체 조직으로부터 바이러스 무병주 및 종자를 대량으로 생산할 수 있다.
