PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve for an endoscope, which is not easily taken to pieces in use while it can be easily assembled and disassembled, and also not reusable.SOLUTION: When a user rotates a button 190 counterclockwise, a valve body engagement part 177 abuts on a return preventing projection 292 not to get over. That is, while the button 190, a piston 160, a valve body 170 and a compression coil spring 233 are detached from a cylinder 140, the button 190 and the piston 160 cannot be rotated relative to the valve body 170. In the state where the valve body engagement part 177 is located in the return preventing engagement part, the positional relationship between a negative pressure nipple 124 and a button engagement part is fixed in a position deviated from a predetermined range, so that the button 190 and the like cannot be fitted to the cylinder 140.
