PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorptive article for easily confirming a horizontal leakage.
SOLUTION: The absorptive article 1 includes: a front surface sheet 2 a rear surface sheet 3 an absorptive body 4 held between both the sheets 2, 3 and leg elastic members 8 for forming leg gather which are respectively arranged both the sides of a crotch part A. A hot melt composition to be discolored by contact with a body fluid is applied on the leg elastic members 8. The leg elastic members 8 are arranged between the front and rear surface sheets 2, 3 so as to have contact with both the sheets 2, 3. It is preferable that both the end edges 2a, 2a of the front surface sheet 2 in the width direction of the absorptive article are positioned to be more inward in the width direction of the absorptive article 1 than both the end edges 3a, 3a of the rear surface sheet 3 in the width direction of the absorbent article.
