PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which prevents an adhesive from being transferred (a glue transfer) to the clothes side or a release paper side.SOLUTION: The absorbent article is provided with a front surface sheet which comes into contact with the skin, a rear surface sheet which comes into contact with clothes, and an absorbing body provided between the front surface sheet and the rear surface sheet, and has a recess formed on the clothes surface side. In the absorbent article, an adhesive region on which the adhesive is applied is formed on the clothes surface side of the rear surface sheet. The adhesive region consists of an applied part and a non-applied part, and at least a part of the non-applied part is arranged at a location overlapped with the recess.
