The front surface sheet and the second sheet are arranged along the skin contact side surface of the absorption body and as a result first recesses (11) and second recesses (12) are formed in the skin contact side surface of the absorptive article the first and second recesses (11 12) following the compressed sections of the absorption body. The depth of the first recesses in the first region is less than the depth of the second recesses in the second region.
