PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article having a stabilized structure of ribs formed on a front surface sheet.
SOLUTION: The absorbent article 1 includes the front surface sheet 10, a rear surface sheet 11 and an absorber 12. The front surface sheet 10 extends in the longitudinal direction Y of the article 1, and is filled with fibers. The ribs 20 to be in contact with the absorber and grooves 30 with a smaller quantity fiber than the ribs 20 are alternately disposed in the lateral direction X of the article on the rear surface side. The groove 30 has embossed recesses 31 in the non-bored state, and the front surface sheet 10 is in contact with the member just below at the positions of the recesses 31.
