PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article capable of suppressing the leak of the menstrual blood in a crotch area of the absorbent article even when used for a long period and suppressing a feeling of uneasiness over leakage when used.SOLUTION: An absorbent article 1 comprises: a front surface sheet 10 a rear surface sheet 20 an absorber 30 and a pair of side sheets 41 covering width direction outside ends of the absorber. Width direction inside ends 41W of the side sheets are arranged between the absorber and the front surface sheet in the thickness direction. The pair of side sheets extend to the outside in the width direction more than the front surface sheet and the absorber.
