PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corn tea drink which is excellent in taste and flavor, has higher palatability and is obtained by using a roasted corn particle as an extraction raw material and to provide a method for preparing the corn tea drink.SOLUTION: The method for preparing the corn tea drink comprises the steps of: using the roasted corn particle as the extraction raw material to obtain a liquid extract and adding 2-acetylpyridine to the obtained liquid extract so that, for example, the concentration of the added 2-acetylpyridine per a product becomes 50-410 ppb.
