PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaged cooked rice having a color, pebbly feel, flavor, hardness, stickiness, looseness, swelling, texture, and taste equivalent to those of so-called freshly cooked rice from a commonly used rice cooker.SOLUTION: Measured rice grains K and carbonated water T are filled into a packaging vessel H with an opened top face. A plurality of the packaging vessels are put in a pot and rice cooking is performed. The packaging vessel is sealed with a lid F after rice cooking, so that a packaged cooked rice is manufactured. The raw material rice for the rice grains is washed with carbonated water. A method includes the successive steps of filling measured rice grains and carbonated water into a packaging vessel with an opened top face, putting a plurality of the packaging vessels in a pot to perform rice cooking, and sealing the packaging vessel with a lid.【課題】従通常の炊飯器等による所謂、炊き立てのご飯と同等な均一な色、粒立ち、香り、硬さ、粘り、ほぐれ、ふっくら感、食感、食味のある包装米飯を提供する。【解決手段】上面が開口した包装容器H内に米粒Kと炭酸水Tとが計量充填され、複数個の包装容器は釜に入れて炊飯され、炊飯後に包装容器は蓋Fにより密封されてなる包装米飯。上記米粒の原料米は炭酸水により洗米を行う。上面が開口した包装容器内に米粒と炭酸水とを計量充填した後、該複数個の包装容器を釜に入れて炊飯し、その後、該包装容器を蓋により密封する方法。【選択図】図1
