PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultra low smell polyglycerol fatty acid ester widely used as an emulsifying agent even in the fields of a medicine, cosmetic, etc., as well as a food.SOLUTION: A polyglycerol fatty acid ester composition having &le70 ppb content of 7-10C unsaturated aldehyde and a polyglycerol fatty acid ester composition having &le100 ppb content of hydroxyacetone are provided.
