PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new production method capable of efficiently producing a dried product of nanoparticles using three components of gallate catechin, animal protein, and an acid.SOLUTION: Nanoparticles are formed by: obtaining a solution containing gallate catechin and animal protein by mixing three components of gallate catechin, animal protein, and an acid with water, a water-containing organic solvent, or an organic solvent so as to contain, as solid, the gallate catechin in an amount of 5-20 wt.%, the animal protein comprising whey proteins or their decomposed product in the total amount of 5-20 wt.%, and the acid in an amount of 5-20 wt.% and diluting the obtained solution containing the gallate catechin and the animal protein with water, a water-containing organic solvent, or an organic solvent and drying the diluted solution.
