The present invention proposes a method for making coffee beverage using a home used coffee machine comprises warming up coffee materials before brewing； grinding coffee beans into coffee grounds； and brewing at least part of said coffee materials to make the coffee beverage； wherein said coffee materials are coffee beans and/or coffee grounds. The present invention also provides apparatus for making coffee using the above described method.
