Provided are: an oil and fat composition for assisting ingestion for persons who have difficulty in chewing and/or swallowing, said composition enabling food that is easily ingested by persons who have difficulty chewing and/or swallowing to be easily produced, and having excellent washability and foods for persons who have difficulty chewing and/or swallowing in which said composition is used. The oil and fat composition for assisting ingestion of foods for persons who have difficulty in chewing and/or swallowing is characterized: by containing 15 to 90 mass% of medium-chain triglycerides, 3 to 80 mass% of edible oils and fats other than the medium-chain triglycerides, and 1 to 7 mass% of polyglyceryl fatty acid esters having an HLB value of 6 to 9 having an SFC of 5 to 15% at 5 to 45 DEG C and by being mixed and used with shredded or crushed ingestible food.本發明的問題在於提供一種因應吞嚥及/或咀嚼困難者之攝食輔助用油脂組成物、以及使用該油脂組成物之吞嚥及/或咀嚼困難者用食品,該油脂組成物可輕易地製造出使吞嚥及/或咀嚼困難者容易攝取的食品,且洗淨性優異。為了解決此問題,本發明的手段是提供一種吞嚥及/或咀嚼困難者用食品之攝食輔助用油脂組成物,其特徵在於:含有中鏈脂肪酸三酸甘油酯15~90質量%、該中鏈脂肪酸三酸甘油酯以外的食用油脂3~80質量%、及親水性-親油性比值是6~9的脂肪酸聚甘油酯1~7質量%,並且,該油脂組成物於5~45℃範圍的固體脂肪含量為5~15%,且是與可食用食品的細碎物或打碎物混合使用。
