PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To find a novel function of the Prunus mume extract to aim at effective utilization thereof.SOLUTION: A skin whitening agent, an antioxidant, an inhibitor of advanced glycation end product formation, and an anti-aging agent include a Prunus mume extract obtained by heating Prunus mume fruit as an active ingredient.
