PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a beverage suppressed in unfavorable smell inherent in corn peptide.
SOLUTION: The beverage contains: corn peptide and at least one kind of fragrant material, and extract of a plant processed material which is selected from the group comprising (a) non-fermented material or semi-fermented material of tea leaves, (b) roasted material of grain selected from the group of adlay, unpolished rice and barley, (c) dried material of Houttuynia cordata and striped bamboo, and (d) roasted material of seed selected from the group of sesame seed and cassia seed.
