The purpose of the present invention is to discover a trace protein occurring in a cell membrane in association with the production of an antibody useful in the medical and agricultural fields, and to provide a method for producing the antibody. The purpose of the present invention can be achieved by producing an antibody using a protein identified by an identification method comprising: a labeling step of producing a cell having a labeled protein using at least one labeling agent selected from a bisiminobiotin compound and a bisbiotin compound； a decomposition step of preparing a decomposition product for an immobilization treatment which contains the labeled protein； an immobilization step of immobilizing the labeled protein contained in the decomposition product for an immobilization treatment onto the immobilization phase with a streptavidin variant interposed therebetween； a cleavage step of cleaving a sample of interest from the immobilization phase having the labeled protein immobilized thereon； and an analysis step of analyzing the sample of interest to identify the labeled protein.Le but de la présente invention est de découvrir une protéine de trace se produisant dans une membrane cellulaire en association avec la production d'un anticorps utile dans les champs médicaux et agricoles, et de fournir un procédé de production de l'anticorps.
