PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing frozen confectionery by which a fluid such as chocolate sauce is prevented from scattering downward from the periphery of frozen cream such as ice cream to improve the yield of the confectionery and also make an eater reliably taste the fluid substance just after her (his) first bite.
SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing frozen confectionery includes: transferring baked confectionery with a transferring means and at least superimposing frozen confectionery cream and fluid material. Specifically, first ice cream 4 is superimposed on primary baked confectionery 2, thereafter grooves 5, 5 extending in a direction perpendicular to a transferring direction (A) of a conveyer are formed at both end parts of the first ice cream 4 in the transferring direction (A), and sauce 6 is applied on a space between the grooves 5, 5.
