The present utility model relates to a process of producing dried splitted slipmouth treated with vinegar and chili and a food product therefrom that would be healthy option for individuals having vitamins and minerals deficiency, a condition leading to health maladies. The process of producing dried splitted slipmouth treated with vinegar and chili comprises the steps of: securing and collecting slipmouth fishes in a containing means; washing and cleaning the fishes by splitting and removing their gills and internal organs; soaking the cleaned fishes in brine solution; soaking the brine-treated fishes in vinegar; draining the vinegar-treated fishes; soaking the drained fishes in a chili concentrate; and drying the chili-treated fishes. The process includes frying of the dried chili-treated fishes. The food product from the process is fried chili-treated fishes.
