PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereoscopic image display system that displays a stereoscopic image using two images, namely a right-eye image and a left-eye image in which a normal monitor used by a user ever can also be used for displaying one of the right-eye image and the left-eye image.SOLUTION: A first monitor 41 used by a user ever to display a normal image is also used for displaying a left-eye image. A stereoscopic image monitor 43 to which a half mirror 44 is attached is provided on a right side of the first monitor 41 to be combined with the first monitor 41 for displaying a right-eye image.【課題】 右目用画像および左目用画像の２枚の画像を用いて立体視画像を表示する立体視画像表示システムにおいて、ユーザーがこれまで使用してきた通常のモニタを、右目用画像または左目用画像の一方を表示するためのものとして兼用できるようにする。【解決手段】 ユーザーが従来使用していた第１モニタ４１を左目用画像の表示と通常画像の表示を兼ねるものとして用い、第１モニタ４１の右側にハーフミラー４４が取り付けられた立体視用モニタ４３を配し、この立体視用モニタ４３を右目用画像の表示用として組み合わせる。【選択図】図４
