PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article capable of effectively preventing both liquid flowing on a front surface sheet and liquid absorbed by an absorbent body from leaking out.
SOLUTION: The absorbent article 1 has a three-dimensional leakage preventing part 6 having first and second hollow loop parts 7 and 8 on both sides in the longitudinal direction. The first and second hollow loop parts 7 and 8 are provided adjacently to each other, have peak parts 71 and 81 above the skin facing surface 41 of the absorbent body 4, and have inner sheets 72 and 82 extending inward from the peak parts 71 and 81 and outer sheets 73 and 83 extending outward, respectively. The outer sheets 73 and 83 are liquid poorly-permeable or liquid impermeable. The inner sheet 72 of the first hollow loop 7 has an upper fixed part 72a on the skin facing surface side of the absorbent body 4, the outer sheet 73 of the first hollow loop 7 has a lower fixed part 73a on the non-skin facing surface side of the absorbent body, and the outer sheet 83 of the second hollow loop part 8 has a lower fixed part 83a fixed to the side of the non-skin facing surface 42 of the absorbent body 4.
