The invention relates to cultivating mariculture species. A sea floor section is selected that is up to 20 m deep and has soft soil, an even surface and weak bottom currents. A bottom enclosure is placed on the section and exposed, and juvenile Japanese sea cucumbers are then placed therein. Throughout the cultivation period, the number and distribution of the mariculture species and sessile organisms within the enclosure and changes in the epifauna of the sea floor section are recorded； the quantity and quality of organic matter in the upper layer of the soil are determined； and potential predators are removed. As the mariculture species achieve commercial size, they are removed with the help of divers. The method makes it possible to cultivate mariculture species at a high density.L'invention se rapporte au domaine de la croissance et du traitement d'objets de mariculture. On choisit une zone du fond marin à des profondeurs jusqu'à 20 m présentant des sols doux, une surface régulière et de faibles courants près du fond. Dans cette zone on dispose et on expose une volière de fond dans laquelle on place des jeunes d'Apostichopus japonicus. Pendant toute la durée de culture on enregistre le nombre et la distribution de objets de mariculture et d'organismes de fouling dans la volière, les modifications de l'épifaune dans la zone, on détermine la qualité et la quantité de matières organiques dans la couche supérieure du sol et on effectue l'enlèvement des prédateurs potentiels. A mesure que les objets de mariculture atteignent une taille commercialisable, on les fait cueillir par des plongeurs.
